AND THE TRADITION CONTINUES....As the great-grandaughter of Camille Pissarro, Lelia represents the fourth generation of this family of artists. She studied with her grandfather Paulemile and her father H. Claude and later went to art school in Tours. At twenty-one, she was teaching art in Paris and has continued to do so since she moved to London in 1988. She produces work mainly in oil and pastel, taking as her subjects, scenes of her native France and many cities around the world, including London, Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles and Boston. Her works are highly collected and they can be seen in many galleries around the world.
