Diva Art Group – Buying Art

DIVA ART GROUP has been selling art as Fine Art dealers, since 1993. In 1995 we became one of the very first 3 ON-LINE art dealers. Because of many years of experience with on-line art sales, we have designed procedures to make your art purchasing experience safe and easy, for any size transaction.

Our mission consists, not only of price, but also of Diva Art Group's signature world-class service. Repeat customers and referrals however are only a part of our motivation to deliver this service, every time, without fail. Word of mouth perpetuates the cycle. Your happiness is our success.

  1. We protect the seller by not shipping artwork to the buyer until the buyer has paid for the art
  2. We protect the buyer by not paying the seller until the buyer has received the artwork and approved it

DIVA ART GROUP has many more original paintings, limited edition prints and sculptures available, then are listed on the site. If you do not see what you are looking for....ASK us. We currently have only added artwork to our NEW website from our OLD website, after it has been verified within the past year. This is an ongoing vetting procedure. But you benefit by this vetting, as you know that the availability of the listed artwork is much more certain than on other crowded sites, with ancient and outdated listings.

  3. DIVA ART GROUP will assist the seller with packing requirements. We ship by UPS, DHL, and other bonded carriers. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs, insurance, and any customs duty or taxes. Sellers are responsible for packing or crating the artwork.

  4. Buyers have 48 hours to inspect and approve that the purchase is 'as described'. Buyers must open and inspect the artwork immediately, save all packing materials, and notify us of approval via email. If we do not hear back from the buyer in that time frame, we will go forward and pay the seller. The seller will be paid within 7 business days. We sell artwork only. See our Frame disclaimer below:

"The value of the artwork and asking price are based on unframed values. If framed, a seller may include the frame as a courtesy and as added protection in shipping. Keep in mind that the frames are typically older and they are considered used. Frame condition is AS IS and not considered in the insured value. No claim will be filed if there is damage to the frame."

5. As most of the asking prices on our site are near or below wholesale, we ask that you do your own research prior to making an offer. If you have a substantiated reason to believe a work is listed too high....please communicate that information and feel free to make an offer, based on your own research. Some of our sellers will negotiate the pricing, while others are firm. We will present any reasonable offers to our sellers on the buyers behalf. The seller must provide accurate information on the artwork, including any available documentation.
