Clayton Robbins, Canadian (1919 - 2010)
Clayton Robbins was born in Raymond, Alberta, Canada in 1919 but he was raised and died in Utah. After World War II, he had many occupations, including his own construction company, retail materials, school buses, trucks, food plans and appliances. Eventually he purchase the Beltone Hear Aid franchise for Utah.
Upon retirement he finally pursued his life-long ambition of being a full-time artist. His works include paintings, wood carvings and sculptures with western and contemporary themes. A collection of his Shakespearean sculptures is on permanent display at the Utah Shakespearean Festival in Cedar City, Utah. He designed and constructed floats for 24th of July Parades and built scenery for LDS church productions and road shows.
